Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AutoPilot, a software product provided by AutoPilot (“AutoPilot”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AutoPilot, or by creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use AutoPilot.

2. Description of AutoPilot

AutoPilot is a local-first AI development control center that connects tools such as Codex and Claude Code into a managed workflow for planning, coding, reviewing, testing, and task management. AutoPilot is designed to run with your local tools and local project folders.

3. Accounts and Access

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and License Keys

AutoPilot Free can be downloaded and used without an account. AutoPilot Pro is offered on a subscription basis. Payments, billing, renewals, and applicable taxes are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. After purchase, Lemon Squeezy issues a license key that you enter inside AutoPilot to unlock Pro features. By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s applicable buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

5. User Responsibility for Code and Automation

AutoPilot can assist with and automate development tasks. You remain solely responsible for reviewing, approving, and deciding how to use any code, commands, configurations, or automated actions produced or executed through AutoPilot, including any changes made to your projects, files, or systems.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AutoPilot for any illegal, harmful, destructive, or abusive purpose, and not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to AutoPilot, our systems, or any third-party systems. You must comply with all applicable laws and with the terms of any third-party tools or services you connect to AutoPilot.

7. AI Output Disclaimer

AutoPilot uses AI models that may produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. AI output is provided for assistance only and is not professional advice. You must review all outputs and are responsible for their final use. We do not warrant that AI output will be correct, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose.

8. Early Access / Beta; Software Provided “As Is”

AutoPilot may be offered during an early access or beta period. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. AutoPilot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoPilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of AutoPilot. Our total liability for any claim relating to AutoPilot will not exceed the amount you paid for AutoPilot in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of your current paid billing period unless otherwise stated. Please also see our Refund Policy.
