Overview

AutoPilot can be used for free. Free mode does not require registration — download the app and start working on your local projects right away. Upgrading to Pro unlocks advanced features while keeping everything in Free fully available.

Activating Pro

If you have a Pro license key, activate it from within the app:

  1. Open Settings → Plan & License.
  2. Enter your license key.
  3. AutoPilot validates the license with the AutoPilot License API.

Once validation succeeds, Pro features are unlocked.

License states

Your license can be in one of several states, and AutoPilot responds to each as follows:

  • Active: Pro features are unlocked.
  • Inactive or expired: if the license is inactive or has expired, the app returns to Free mode.
  • License server unavailable: if the AutoPilot License API is temporarily unavailable, an offline grace period may apply — but only after a recent valid check. This lets you keep using Pro through short interruptions in connectivity.

Regardless of license state, Free features always remain available.

Note: You never lose access to Free features. Even if a license is expired, inactive, or cannot be reached, AutoPilot continues to work in Free mode.
